The First GaB - Clues!

We’re geeks and geeks are happiest when there’s a problem to solve. So, the mechanism for the invite to the first GaB had to be a series of clues. You can find the introductory email to GaB1 below. See if you can work out where and when we met. (I didn’t want to be there on my own so this one was pretty easy. They may get harder…)
Welcome to Geek and Banter.

D'Alembert's Paradox states that the drag on a body moving through an incompressible fluid at constant velocity is zero. An apt metaphor for the unhindered glut of scientific theorising that flowed during the age of enlightenment. During this period, learned men gathered in coffee shops for discussion, theories and the odd peek down the cleavage of a buxom waitress.

It's time for a new age of enlightenment.

The birth of the new age will commence in parallel with the man of the paradox; an exact 294 years on and will follow the tradition by going right back to the original coffee shop roots.

Join Geek and Banter and become adjacent to the law and part of the Learned Club. We'll have no fisticuffs over mispronounciation of Greek words. We will be Grecian.

Prime time is the 4th prime.

See you there.

@GeekandBanter for more clues, if you need them.
